Welcome to DCU eSports Society 2024/25!

 

Hey everyone, 

Welcome back to DCU eSports, we're excited to start another semester of eSports, fun events and to meet all of the new players! Get ready for another year of thrilling gaming sessions and competitive nights against the other collegiate players of Ireland.

We want to extend a special welcome to the incoming first years who are eager to play on our teams this year, and we hope that you have a fantastic time and enjoy our society, Collegiate eSports and everything DCU has to offer!

 

Upcoming Events

 

Clubs and Societies Fair 

DCU eSports Society will have its own stand at the Clubs and Societies Fair on the Glasnevin campus on September 18th and 19th from 10:00-16:00.

We will have some goodies to give out, and you may even be able to challenge some of our best players in Valorant to a 1v1 for a chance to win a prize.

Make sure to give us a visit in order to see what our society has to offer and meet some of our committee members and players. Don't forget to bring your friends!

 

Team Tryouts 

Team tryouts are finally here! It's time to put your skills to the test against other players and have fun making new teammates and friends. All tryouts will be held online and not in person.

 

League of Legends tryouts will be held on Monday September 30th at 8pm.

Valorant tryouts will be held on Wednesday October 2nd at 8pm.

Rocket League tryouts will be held on Thursday October 3rd at 8pm.

CS2 tryouts TBA.

Any player of any rank is welcome to try out and join or create a team. The most important thing to remember is that societies are created to enjoy your shared interests with others, so don't shy away from joining!
