Week 2: EGM

 

Hey everyone, 

Get prepared for the coming weeks, as eSports Society will be hosting a number of events such as the EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting), team tryouts and much more. As the collegiate season starts soon, we're excited to see new players join us, and previous players return for more competition! 

 

Upcoming Events

 

EGM

Our EGM will be held on Monday the 30th of September at 6pm in CG05 (Henry Grattan Building).

During the EGM you have a chance to meet other members of the society and the committee. We will also be discussing the future events and activities of the society. If you're in first year and have a love for all things eSports, you can run for the position of First Year Representative and become part of the committee. 

We would like to invite everyone who is interested to come along, and we will also have free pizza and RedBull for those in the society who attend :)

 

Reminder of Team Tryouts  

Team tryouts will be happening soon, so make sure to save the dates in your calendars. All tryouts will be held online on Discord, not in person.

League of Legends tryouts have CHANGED dates since the previous newsletter.

 

CS2 tryouts will be held on Sunday September 29th at 8pm.

League of Legends tryouts will be held on Tuesday October 1st at 8pm.

Valorant tryouts will be held on Wednesday October 2nd at 8pm.

Rocket League tryouts will be held on Thursday October 3rd at 8pm.

 

We'd also like to thank everyone for the growing interest in eSports Society and the rise in enthusiasm this year, it is great to see so many eager players!
